Children of the land

Image
My name is Lavine Ojode Ateng' Mutoni. I am a Kenyan and like the fact that I am African. I like being in Africa, I love my land and my people. In a midst of the poverty in Africa, I see a lot of beauty. Underneath the dirty clothes, there is a warm heart. The seemingly hopeless society is a home of creatives. For such a long time our people have been exploited and left bare, but passion oozes out from their hearts like a strong river. It enlightens them, they share their talents with each other in great joy.  Most hearts are pure and full of love. Most laughter are genuine. Most products are inspired. Most lives are rich since we impact each others souls.  Most cultures are rich. Most beliefs create a perfect balance of life The reason as to why I started blogging is because I see a lot of riches in Africa. I would love other Africans to see Africa as I do. It is not about being a superior race or being better that your neighbor. It is abou

The Present Africa

Image
The world is becoming one big society every day. As things like social media, internet, technological and ease of transportation grow, people are becoming more and more aware of what is happening in various places. The level of Education in the Third Word is rising, and so is the degree of awareness. The African Youth is educated, and is willing to apply the knowledge and invent great things. This is a resourceful person to Africa as he is able to keep up with the fast moving technology in the world.  A lot is going on in Africa, electricity has reached more places, great trade with China, access to internet is increasing, the level of education is rising and knowledge is increasing every day. With all these happening around us, we can move with the speed of the world now.  Hello African man, let me move your focus to who you are as an African, and forget the trends of the world for a moment. There are qualities that have kept your ancestors alive from generation to a

Native Africa

Africa, my land. I love every aspect of it. There is a lot truth of what they  say about it. It is true the people seem weak. It is true that Africa was found native. It is true. There is a lot of work to be done in Africa. There are a lot of resources to be utilized. The land is raw. How it was found and how it is right now is not the same. A lot has been done already, and a lot is yet to be done. Truth be told, if it were not for the white men who came to Africa, it would not have been the way it is now. The white men contributed greatly to how Africa is now. I love the white man's eagerness to explore and discover, if it was not for such a man, Africa would still be native as it was found a hundred of years ago. Africa needs to be more wise, as it is very rich. Be wise Africa, do not be used by a greedy man who claims to be your brother. Do not be used by a selfish white man who pretends to offer donations yet he wants to make himself rich. Be wise Africa, build yourself to wh

BLESSED AFRICAN YOUTH

Image
African Youths are motivated, strong, willing to grow and determined to work hard to  reach their ambitions. They are the most in Africa's population, for instance Kenya's population is about 45million. Majority of them being youths who are 70% of the total population of Kenya Nowadays most of our youth work in other countries especially Middle East, they work hard to get about $300 to $2000 a month. Middle East Companies have realized that African Youths are very hardworking and strong so they hire them to grow their industries. My question is, are the industries in my nation being built? Have we done enough, building of our nation already? Kenya is a developing country, there are roads that are yet to be built, companies that are yet to be formed and expanded, industries that are yet to grow, markets that are yet to be found and a lot of potential that needs to be tapped. We need leaders that will channel all this energy into a course which will lead to

AFRICAN BEAUTY

Image
My eyes looks around and sees the great beauty that Africa possesses, one can say that I am in love with Africa. Not because I am an African, but because I am able to see the riches of the earth around me, the clarity of air which allows you to see far and beyond the plains and the mountains, the breathtaking beauty of the stars and the sky. I love experiencing every feeling that the wind brings, the feeling of warmth and at times a refreshing cold which gently hits the skin. I like listening to the sound of a stream, whose water makes the air cold and fresh, it can almost quench a thirst. The smell of the forest fascinates me. How thick and full of life are the forests, it is so refreshing, especially when other animals are around, we interact with them in gentleness and kindness as we discover the mystery of their world. The People of Africa have always been warm, kind and wise. I just love how Africa has managed to keep wisdom for centuries, passing it down from a generation to
